It's time for us to think about what ancestors we need to be. Stepping up and leaning into the conversations we must begin having with white(ish) and privileged communities is one way we are being a part of #BLM for the long term. Like it or not, the generations before us have laid a pathway of inhumane pain and oppression, and it is now our responsibility to create new stories and change the systems those realities are tied to.

None of us are here by accident.
